CHINAEASA (China Essential Oils, Aroma and Spices Trade Association), founded on May 18, 2004, is one of the 49 associations under China Chamber of Commerce of Import & Export of Foodstuffs, Native Produce and Animal  By-Products (CFNA). As a national professional organization, CHINAEASA is engaged in coordination and communication of production, processing and trade of essential oils, flavor, fragrance, aroma chemicals and spices in China.

From 2005 to 2009, CHINAEASA successfully held four national conferences in Beijing, Shanghai, Kunming and Jinxi County in Jiangxi Province. During 2009 IFEAT Conference in Shanghai, CHINAEASA held the Negotiation & Show Special for China Essential Oils and Aroma Enterprises. From 2010 to 2023, CHINAEASA has held ten international conferences in Hefei, Xi’an, Xiamen, Hangzhou, Kunming, Chengdu, Guilin, Zhuhai, Nanjing, Tianjin, Nanchang, Guangzhou, Nanning and Fuzhou, and have got very good achievements. In 2014, CHINAEASA successfully held AAIC2014 (Asian Aroma Ingredients Conference and Expo 2014) in Kunming with a participation of 350 delegates from more than 20 countries.  In 2014, CHINAEASA also cooperated with IFEAT for 2014 IFEAT STUDY TOUR--a 9-day country field trip to China. Meanwhile, CHINAEASA has organized lots of activities, such as trade forums, field visits, groups to overseas markets, and so on.

 Activities organized by CHINAEASA:

**Became a member of IFEAT in 2001.

** Held the 1st domestic session of CHINAEASA Conference in Dec. 2005 in Beijing, received high evaluation from the participants.

** Held the 2nd domestic session of CHINAEASA Conference in Shanghai in 2007, received industry recognition, the number of participants increased significantly over the first session.

** Held the 3rd domestic session of CHINAEASA Conference in Kunming in 2008. The meeting topics were combined with local characteristics of Yunnan, and were greatly welcomed by the participants.

** Held the 4th domestic session of CHINAEASA Conference in Jinxi County, Jiangxi Province in 2009. The meeting was strongly supported by the local government, and has vigorously promoted the development of the local industry.

** In cooperation with the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, organized a field visit of lavender and pepper mint plant bases in Yili Area in June 2006.

** With the theme of pepper, held 2 sessions of domestic conferences and 3 sessions of international forums in Hainan Province; participated the annual meetings of IPC (International Pepper Community) in 2005 and 2006.

** Accepted the visits of foreign trade organizations and enterprises, such as the Spearmint Oil Delegation from the United States, etc.

** Organized the Negotiation & Show Special for China Essential Oils and Aroma Enterprises during IFEAT2009 Conference in Shanghai.

** Organized the first international F&F Conference in China--2010 CHINAEASA Conference in Hefei city.

** Organized the second international F&F Conference in China--2011 CHINAEASA Conference in Xi’an city.

** Organized the third international F&F Conference in China--2012 CHINAEASA Conference in Xiamen city.

** Organized the fourth international F&F Conference in China--2013 CHINAEASA Conference in Hangzhou city.

** Organized the fifth international F&F Conference in China and AAIC2014 (Asian Aroma Ingredients Conference and Expo 2014) in Kunming city.

** Cooperated with IFEAT for 2014 IFEAT STUDY TOUR-- a 9-day country field trip visit in China.

** Organized the sixth international F&F Conference in China--2015 CHINAEASA Conference in Chengdu city.

** From 2001 to 2018, organized groups to attend annual IFEAT Conference for continuous 18 years.

** Organized Chinese group to attend AAIC2016 in Dehli, April 22-24, 2016.

** Organized Chinese group to visit Aroma Industry in India, April 25-30, 2016.

** Organized the seventh international F&F Conference in China --2016 CHINAEASA Conference from May 30 to June 2 in Guilin city.

** Organized the first China Spice Congress in June 19-21, 2016 in Bo’ao city, Hainan.

** Organized Chinese group to visit Aroma Industry in Madagascar, October, 2016.

** Organized the first China Aromatherapy Conference, Dec.8-10, 2016 in Shanghai.

** Organized a group to visit Bulgarian Rose industry in June, 2017

** Organized a group to visit Turkey and Bosnia-Herzegovina aroma industry June 4-13, 2018.

** Held 2018 China Aromatherapy Conference in Kunming, July 9-12.

** Organize a group to join 2018 IFEAT Conference, Columbia, Sep.2-13 and visit Cuba and Panama.

MAIN FUNCTIONS OF CHINAEASA：

** Information Exchange: holding industrial conferences, professional exhibitions and various forms of information communication between domestic and foreign industries.

** Products coordination: responding of anti-dumping cases, market coordination.

** Market explorations: expansions of client resources , introductions of customer’s requirements, promotions of domestic products and trade cooperation.

 ** Training of technical services: cooperated with authoritative technical organizations and associations, provide the trainings of quality control, procession technology and others.

** Defending the interests of the industry: on behalf of the industry, reflect the problems and proposals to relevant government departments to obtain favorable industry policies. Have submitted many proposals to the government, among which some have been accepted.
